Mushroom Mania- Growing Shiitake Mushroom Logs

Horticulturist and Extension Agent, Rhonda Britton will talk about growing Shiitake Mushrooms in your back yard, then if you would like to inoculate a log and take one home you can stay after and use the tools needed. You must call the Elmore County office (334-567-6301) to pre-register for the log so we know how many to prepare for. (Limit 3 logs per person- $5 Each) Collected the day of the program. To attend the program is FREE, only a charge for a log and open to the public. Water is provided, bring a sack lunch and a friend!
