High tunnel crop production and pest management workshop

This program will discuss the participatory research being conducted on growing vegetables in high tunnels, using exclusion fabric to help reduce large insect pests, and improve crop quality with on-farm studies. The most current research data will be discussed, including benefits & challenges of high tunnel production system. This program should be beneficial for both organic and traditional vegetable farms. Besides producers, NRCS and FSA Field personnel as well as Extension educators are encouraged to attend. We will be following social distancing practices and masks are encouraged.
