What is PCREP?
PCREP is the acronym for Parent-Child Reading Enhancement Program.

Additionally, the program provides tools and resources that can be used when teaching children to read.

Who is PCREP for?
PCREP was developed to support parents, guardians & caregivers of children of any age.

Alabama Extension understands that parents have limited time. PCREP activities that combine learning with quality time.

PCREP techniques can give beginning readers a solid start, struggling readers needed support and advanced readers techniques to expand comprehension.

Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Certification is a certification for child care providers. Following the training, interested providers must implement the five requirements for becoming breastfeeding friendly. Child care providers will receive a tool kit that guides them through the process and provides resources and tips for each requirement. The five requirements include policy and environmental changes needed to become a Breastfeeding Friendly site. This valuable opportunity is recognized by the Department of Human Resources and 2 professional development hours are received. The certification is valid for 2 years.
