Alabama Water Watch Data Tools Webinar Series – Beginner

Join us for the first session of the AWW Data Tools Webinar Series on August 5th from 12-1pm!

The webinar series will feature basic, intermediate, and advanced video tutorials in a live webinar format to help volunteer monitors and the public navigate the various water quality data tools available on the AWW website.

This beginner-level session will cover the following topics:

How to find a monitoring site through maps and tables

How to graph bacteriological data and interpret related water quality standards

How to graph each water chemistry variable

Registration is free, but required. The webinars will be held on the teleconference platform Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to participate.

Only your name, email, phone number, and mailing address are required to register for this event. We ask for optional information so we can better understand our effectiveness in serving all Alabama citizens and for reporting general, anonymous statistics to our federal and state funders. We do not share any specific information you provide.

Estate Planning Basic Virtual Workshop

The Estate Planning Basics workshop is a free program offered via Zoom. An estate plan is a set of legal documents that determines how you want your assets distributed when you pass away. It also details how to handle health and financial decisions if you are unable to make those decisions for yourself.

During the workshop, participants will learn methods of organizing important papers in an estate plan. Attorney Tinisha Glenn from The Glenn Law Firm, LLC will be the guest speaker to explain the importance of having a will, living will, and power of attorney.
