TEEN: Technology Enhancing Exercise and Nutrition, a resource for youth ages 8 through 18.

Using technology like exergaming and apps to improve health and reduce childhood obesity. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation reports that 18.2 percent of children ages 10 to 17 are overweight or obese in Alabama.1 Teens still struggle to add physical activities to their daily routine.

What is TEEN?

Who is TEEN for?

  • TEEN works with all school-age children, 8 through 18.
  • The TEEN series can be reserved for your classroom or other youth groups.

How much does TEEN cost?

  • The TEEN program is absolutely free.
  • Alabama Extension personnel will come to your class or community facility.
  • Personnel takes care of everything for the session from set-up, teaching the session, and follow-up data analysis.
