Healthy Snacks for Kids...


Veggie Pizza

Ingredients

4   English muffin halves
1/2 cup   prepared pizza or spaghetti sauce

2 cups

  chopped vegetables (bell pepper, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.)

1/2 cup

  (2 ounces) grated cheese

Directions

  1. Put English muffin halves on a baking pan
  2. Spread pizza sauce on each muffin half
  3. Sprinkle vegetables and cheese on top
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts

OPTIONS: Add cooked meat or chicken if your budget allows. Cook it ahead and refrigerate to help ensure food safety. Top the muffin with cheese, meat, vegetables, and lettuce.
