Robert Spencer has extensive experience as an agriculture outreach specialist with a focus on small ruminant meat and dairy production, as well as rabbit production. His responsibilities are to develop and implement small ruminant, rabbit, and canine educational programs throughout Alabama. He has personal experience raising meat and dairy goats, and rabbits. His experience (professional and personal) help him to comprehend the challenges associated with sustainability and profitability of small-scale and value-added agricultural production.
