VCLLI Fall ’23: State Health Insurance Program (SHIP)

The State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs) provide local, in-depth, and objective insurance counseling and assistance to Medicare-eligible individuals, their families, and caregivers.

SHIP is a trusted source for information about Medicare, related health insurance, and low-income resources. SHIP counselors can help participants know and understand their insurance options. SHIP provides FREE education, counseling, and information concerning: Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare savings programs, Medicaid, prescription drugs, plan comparisons, billing & claims, rights & protections, and long-term care.
