Resource Management

WELCOME TO:

The Resource Management Consumer Helpnet

A directory to help solve financial and consumer problems.

Introduction

Resource Management is a process used by individuals and families to achieve goals.

Resources are whatever is available to be used at any given point in time or situation. Information, time, money, energy, and skills are the resources most often used. These resources help individuals and families shape their values and attitudes, as they strive to reach their goals.

Goals are realized by decision making and problem solving. Essentially, as individuals and families identify their needs and wants through the resource management process, they will realize the full extent of the goals they pursue through planning, implementing and evaluating. Individuals, families and youth will acquire knowledge and develop skills that will enhance their ability to function effectively in the marketplace.

Consumer protection is the process of protecting the interest of consumers through policies.
