Upon attending a conference earlier this year, participants were given a publication written by T. J. Talbert entitled, The Extension Worker's Code. Although it was written in 1922 in conjunction with the Kansas State Agricultural College and the United States Department of Agriculture, I was utterly amazed at how relevant it is today. I encourage all Extension personnel to read this publication in its entirety and reflect upon how it applies to you and your work today. I think you will agree that Talbert understood Extension and that his insight is rather uncanny.
