St. Clair Farmers Federation Building, 32775 US Highway 231, Ashville, AL 35953

Pasture and Hayfield Weed Management Meeting at the St. Clair Farmers Federation Building in Ashville, AL on March 11 from 5:30 to 7:30.
Weed species pressure continues to be a competitive factor affecting producer profits and yields in Alabama cattle systems. As a result, it is necessary to develop integrated strategies that alleviate potential losses due to problematic weeds. This program’s objectives are to, 1) Increase producers’ knowledge of troublesome weeds that may lead to economic and environmental losses, 2) Increase adoption of integrated, systems-based weed management techniques, and 3) Improve crop yields and animal performance by proactive weed control approaches.
