The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama Extension) is the primary outreach and engagement organization that fulfills the land-grant mission of Alabama A&M University (AAMU) and Auburn University in cooperation with Tuskegee University. Alabama Extension at AAMU primarily provides programming and services to urban audiences through its nine Urban Centers, which are denoted by an * in the directory. These programs fall under the umbrella of Urban Extension. However, we serve both urban and rural audiences in more than 40 counties.
