Farming
The Sweet Tea Pysanky Playdate is back and taking over one of the nation’s premier poultry science hubs for a week of learning and pure creativity.
Pysanky are Ukrainian Easter eggs that are decorated by using a stylus (kistka) and beeswax to write or draw on an egg, which is then dyed. From the biology of the perfect egg canvas to the chemistry of the beeswax, participants will master new techniques alongside artists from all across North America. This event is open to egg artists of all levels. Whether you are a traditionalist or an electric kistka professional, this event will have the needed supplies for you.
