Try Live Well Alabama’s Chickpea Tomato Salad for a tasty side dish. Add some feta cheese for an extra kick!

Remember, canned veggies are great but full of salt. Drain and rinse chickpeas and other canned veggies before using. Also, save money by stocking up on canned and frozen fruits and veggies when on sale.


  • 1 can chickpeas, 15 ounces, drained
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing
  • Feta cheese (optional)


  • Mix all ingredients in bowl.
  • Chill and serve.
