Thoughts from Kendall

During this internship, I hope to get to see the entirety of 4-H and Extension. I didn’t grow up with 4-H or anyone who did, so it is something that is completely new to me. I want to explore it all and see if this is something I can really see myself doing. I was exposed to Extension once I came to Auburn, and the way all the agents talk about their jobs is what has always interested me. Every agent talks about their job like it is the best thing they do, even on the hard days. They get to do a lot of interesting things, meet different people, and develop something new every day. I hope to get some of those things myself through this and work on my networking, communication skills, and being a more teachable person.
