ForestHER: Wildlife Workshop and Field Day

North Alabama Agriplex, 1714 Tallyho ST SW, Cullman, AL 35055

Join us for this ForestHER in-person workshop where wildlife is the main focus. From managing forests, fields, or just a small wooded backyard, there is something to learn about how to improve the wildlife habitat around us. This workshop will include information pertaining to game species such as deer and turkey, as well as non-game species such as birds, bats, and many others! You will learn from wildlife professionals in Alabama and receive many resources to get you started.
For this event there will be indoor learning followed by a field portion to visualize the topics presented.
Lunch is included.

“ForestHER” is a program offered by Alabama Extension with women landowners in mind. These workshops are an opportunity for women landowners to learn about forest management topics that are important to them in a relaxed, fun setting.
