Empowering Farmers – Produce Safety Alliance Growers Training

The Empowering Farmers Project has developed accommodations for the Produce Safety Alliance Growers Training. In this training farmers will receive information in the following:
● Introduction to Produce Safety
● Worker Health, Hygiene, and Training
● Soil Amendments
● Wildlife, Domesticated Animals, and Land Use
● Agricultural Water (Part I: Production Water; Part II: Postharvest Water)
● Postharvest Handling and Sanitation
● How to Develop a Farm Food Safety Plan
This training is free to participants. This project was supported all, or in part, by the Food Safety Outreach Program a grant from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, United States Department of Agriculture. Award Number: 2021-70020-35680
