Cucurbit Workshop & Watermelon Taste Test

Lee County Extension Office, 600 S. 7th Street, Opelika, AL 00000

Cucurbit crops are the vining plants in the garden, including cucumber, squash, zucchini, pumpkin, cantaloupe, and watermelon. The topics discussed at this cucurbit meeting include variety selection, cucurbit disease identification, and cucurbit insect identification. We are also planning to have a watermelon taste test during this event. Our plan is to bring a few different cultivars from our experiment station. Feel free to bring a watermelon from your garden to add to the taste test.
