A restricted-use pesticide dealer is someone who markets and/or distributes restricted-use pesticides. Any business that sells restricted-use pesticides must be issued a permit. The cost of this annual permit is $45 and it expires on December 31 of each calendar year. In order to apply for the permit, the business must have a certified person who has taken and passed the Alabama Restricted-Use Dealer Examination. There is no cost to take the exam. The exam is good for three years and then must be retaken.
