Homegrounds team

Outdoor green spaces enhance community health and prosperity.  The Alabama Cooperative Extension System Home Grounds team supports Alabama homeowners with science-based projects like “Grow More, Give More” and “Alabama Smart Yards” where adults learn about planning, planting, and caring for gardens and plants in indoor and outdoor residential spaces. This team also takes the lead on training and supporting Alabama Master Gardener volunteers who maintain 24 demonstration gardens across the state.
