Alabama 4-H Character Counts curriculum; girl smiling on ropes course

The Character Counts curriculum is an inclusive approach to character education. Each program and lesson plan is based on six ethical values that everyone can agree upon:

  • Trustworthiness
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Fairness
  • Caring
  • Citizenship

Every week, one of six core character-building values is presented in a real-life application. Concise content reinforces key skills in a manner that is appropriate for students in each grade level.
