Farm Management
The Alabama Farm Poll is a comprehensive survey designed to better understand how agricultural producers and farm households in Alabama are adapting to emerging challenges and opportunities. By identifying the needs of the farm sector, the survey aims to capture an accurate snapshot of the state’s agricultural landscape.
Conducted by researchers from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Auburn University, survey results will provide valuable insights to Alabama agricultural producers, organizations, and policymakers, helping them make informed decisions that support the farm community.
The significance of the Alabama Farm Poll lies in its ability to highlight the diverse experiences and needs of farms across different regions of the state. The survey includes questions about farm demographics, management perspectives, and the changing conditions for farm families. Five thousand participants were randomly selected from a list of farm operations in Alabama, ensuring a representative sample. Poll organizers are encouraging farmers to complete the survey in its entirety and return it according to the instructions provided in the mailing packet.
