Through this internship, I hope to achieve a deeper understanding of vegetable production and carnivorous plants. I also want to understand the inner workings of Extension. Personally, I would like to develop stronger communication skills and networking within the agricultural communities in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. What interested me the most about working with Extension is the ability to have multiple projects to focus on while working. The specific skills that I would like to build upon is my understanding of the agricultural world in the field while building my technical knowledge.
