About Us
Tiger Giving Day is an annual fundraising effort at Auburn University. Each year, deserving projects from colleges, schools, and organizations across campus are put forth for consideration as individuals give charitable gifts. This year, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System is pleased to share three Tiger Giving Day projects from participating groups. On March 25, people can support these projects by making donations online through the Auburn University Advancement Office web page at www.TigerGiving.org.
Extension Projects
Alabama Extension asks that you consider making a donation March 25 to one or more of these fantastic Tiger Giving Day projects. Below you will find information about each project and the work your donation will support. With your donations, these Extension groups can continue to extend knowledge and improve lives.
Turn Everyday Lessons Into Lifelong Skills—4M Youth Camp
Alabama Extension needs your help to ignite the futures of Alabama preteens through the 4M Youth Camp—one unforgettable week that turns curiosity into confidence and everyday lessons into lifelong skills.
Through engaging activities, young people ages 9 to 12 will learn the ins and outs of the four Ms: math, money, meals, and manners. From preparing healthy meals with nutrition experts to exploring future careers with professionals, this camp strengthens real-world skills that preteens can use every day.
Your gift will make a lasting difference. By supporting the 4M Youth Camp, you will remove barriers for families and ensure that more young people have access to meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond camp and into homes, schools, and communities. Help us empower Alabama’s youth with the tools they need for lifelong success while strengthening Auburn University’s land-grant mission and community impact across the state.
Protect Alabama’s Pollinators—Pollinator Partners of Alabama
Pollinators keep Alabama’s ecosystems and agricultural industry thriving. Bees, butterflies, moths, and other insects are essential to the health of crops and native plants that residents rely on every day. This Tiger Giving Day, the Pollinator Partners of Alabama program is asking for your help to protect Alabama’s pollinators.
Your support will help fund statewide pollinator trainings that equip communities, landowners, and professionals with practical tools to make a real difference. Participants will learn how to identify Alabama’s diverse pollinators, understand pollinators’ roles in food systems and biodiversity, and apply proven protection strategies. These hands-on sessions also focus on creating pollinator-friendly habitats by reducing pesticide risks, planting native species, and designing landscapes that support pollinators year-round—benefiting both pollinators and the communities that depend on them.
Thanks to people like you, Pollinator Partners of Alabama is building a strong network of advocates who are dedicated to safeguarding pollinators and their environments. Your generous support is an investment in the future of Alabama’s agriculture, natural beauty, and ecological balance. Together, we can ensure that pollinators continue to flourish for generations to come!
Give the Gift of 4-H Summer Camp—Alabama 4-H
Every summer, about 1,400 Alabama 4-H’ers from all 67 Alabama counties experience the life-changing adventure of 4-H summer camp at the Alabama 4-H Center—a place where confidence grows, friendships form, and future leaders begin to shine.
For many families, financial struggles may put this opportunity out of reach. On Tiger Giving Day, you can be part of the solution and help those families by giving the gift of 4-H summer camp! The goal is to provide 100 Alabama 4-H’ers with a $100 scholarship toward the $175 camp fee. Your gift fuels campfires, canoe rides, team-building challenges, friendships, and life lessons that last far beyond summer. Help us ignite potential—one camper at a time!
Thank you for your consideration of the Alabama Extension Tiger Giving Day projects, and War Eagle!
