Teamwork among volunteers, county associations, state associations, and Extension personnel is important to the Extension Master Gardener (EMG) Volunteer Program mission and rewarding for everyone in the program. EMG volunteers have valuable experience and want to help. Extension values this support and has a variety of volunteer opportunities. Extension can grow volunteers’ skills and knowledge so they can contribute even more. Through this combined effort, volunteers find enjoyable ways to expand their volunteerism and enrich their communities. This publication is intended to support communication between the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, EMG volunteers, and local Master Gardener Associations (MGA).
