Objectives of the Alabama BQA program are:

• Help beef producers set realistic production and quality standards in their farm.
• Establish a program for data retention and record keeping. 
• Provide training and education for participants to realize the benefits of the BQA program in performance, economics and quality.
• Demonstrate the economic advantages of following BQA guidelines.
• Provide technical assistance through AL-BQA trained Extension staff.
