Virtual Equine Nutrition Classes for 4-H and Adults

Online, AL

The Virtual Equine Nutrition Classes are scheduled for November 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 6-7 pm cst. Topics include: equine nutrition, feeding hay, winter forages, body condition, and concentrates (grain). Equine nutrition is the key to having a healthy equine partner for many years to come. Wintertime can bring challenges to keeping your horse in good condition. An aging horse or one with a high metabolism can quickly lose body condition if not fed correctly. Please make plans to join us for this 3-night series where we will learn from Extension experts from across the country. Registration is required but FREE of charge! Once you register for these online classes, you will be sent a Zoom link to join. These classes are open to any youth or adults who want to learn more about equine nutrition.
