Very Berry Garden to Pantry- Leroy

Prestwick Community Outreach Center, 3587 Prestwick Road, Leroy, AL 36548; Washington County

Please join Alabama Extension as we host our Very Berry Garden-to-Pantry workshop. We will have agents from the Home Grounds team discuss blueberry and strawberry production, maintenance, and pest management. The Food Safety and Quality team will guide participants as they make their own blueberry jam and taste test dehydrated strawberries. To finish off the class our Human Nutrition, Diet & Heath agent will provide nutritional/health programing and a refreshing very berry treat! Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Cost is 12.00.
