Seed Starting for the Vegetable Garden
Morgan County Extension Office, 3120 Alabama 36, Hartselle, AL 35640
Join us for this hands-on workshop to learn how to start seeds for your summer vegetable garden. Each participant will leave with a tray of seeds with 11 different varieties of tomatoes, peppers, herbs and pollinator plants for their vegetable garden (approx. 100 total plants). Varieties were chosen because of their high productivity and great taste. Learn what you need to know to grow them indoors and how to transplant them into your garden in the spring.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama A&M University and Auburn University) is an equal opportunity educator, employer, and provider. If you need a reasonable accommodation or free language access services, contact Allyson Shabel at 2566126766 or ams0137@aces.edu by 1/30/2026.
