Recreational Pond Management Workshop

Address will be provided closer to date for those who register, Just outside Double Springs, AL 35553

Managing your pond can be tricky. Whether you are experiencing weed issues, not sure if or when you should fertilize, or when to stock fish, this workshop will answer all your questions. We will also tackle wildlife issues such as beaver and otter control. Join us to learn from fisheries specialist Dr. Rusty Wright of Auburn University, and your local agent that can assist with future pond related issues. There will also be a demonstration on electrofishing. If you have pond weeds that you would like identified or if you would like your pond water tested, please bring a sample to the workshop.
