Native Tree Sale – Cullman County – 2/8

North Alabama Agriplex, 1714 Tally Ho Street, Cullman, AL 35055

The Cullman County Natural Resources Planning Committee will hold its annual tree sale providing seedling, bare root trees for $3 per tree. The sale will begin at 9 AM and plants are sold on a first come, first served basis. The sale will end at 12 PM or when plants sell out (whichever comes first).

All plant species are native. Trees include black walnut, flowering dogwood, persimmon, sassafras, sourwood, southern magnolia, and sycamore. Shrubs include arrowwood viburnum, beautyberry, elderberry, oakleaf hydrangea, pawpaw, red buckeye, and witchazel. Plants are subject to change due to nursery availability.

Proceeds of the tree sale support natural resources education for youth and adults in Cullman County.

A Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, February 5 at the North Alabama Agriplex will cover the plants available for purchase at the sale. Call the Agriplex to register (256-297-1044).
