Hands-On Calving Management Workshop

Fayette County Extension Office, 650 McConnell Loop, Fayette, AL 35555

Regional Extension Agent, Ali Gotcher, and local veterinarian, Dr. Alexandra Tramutolo will be hosting a workshop on implementing calving management techniques for cattle operations. A hands-on component of the workshop will be used to demonstrate the proper way to pull a calf if a cow is experiencing calving difficulties (Dystocia). A calving simulator will be used for participants to practice pulling techniques.
