Garden-To-Pantry – Vernon 2/28

First Freewill Baptist Church, 176 2nd Ave. NW, Vernon, AL 35592; Lamar County

Please join Alabama Extension as we host our Bountiful Berries Garden-to-Pantry workshop. We will have agents from the Home Grounds team discuss blueberry and strawberry production, maintenance, and pest management. The Food Safety and Quality team will guide participants as they make their own strawberry jelly and taste test dehydrated blueberry/strawberry fruit leather. To finish off the class our SNAP Ed agent will provide nutritional/health programing and a refreshing berry treat! Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Cost is 12.00.
