Fayette County Trapping Workshop

Fayette County Extension Office, 650 McConnell Loop, Fayette, AL 35555

Join us for a one-day, family-friendly trapping workshop in Fayette County. In this workshop, you will learn the pros and cons of managing predators to increase game populations and also the traps and techniques for animal control in urban areas, uplands, and in water. This workshop will focus on small to medium sized wildlife (wild hogs will not be the subject of this event). There will be indoor learning as well as outside demonstration.
Cost of registration is $5 for anyone over the age of 18. Youth are free and welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. If youth are accompanying you to this event, please send an email to Kerry Steedley at kes0150@auburn.edu with the number of youth that will be attending. Lunch will be provided. Please register by February 14th to secure your spot and a lunch. If accommodations are needed, please register and notify us by February 1st.
