Fall Garden-to-Pantry Workshop

Bower Memorial Baptist Church, 301 Wild Avenue, Evergreen, AL 36401

Home Grounds Agent Carmen Flammini will cover what to grow, when to plant it, how to keep it alive, fall pests and more. Food Safety Agent Rebecca Catalena will bring your collard greens to life with proper preparation, pressure canning, and Alexia Simmons will demonstrate fresh cooking techniques. All participants will take home a preservation book and a pint jar of collard greens. The cost is 10.00 and pre-registration is required.
