Cullman-Blount Well Water Quality Workshop

Opportunity to learn about well water resources in Alabama and receive a free educational bacteria screening of your well water: A workshop is being offered by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System – Private Well Program to residents of the Cullman and Blount Counties.. The event is being held on November 14 @ 6 PM at the Hanceville Civic Center (902 Commercial St, Hanceville, AL 35077). Learn about well water testing, the basics of well stewardship, and how to interpret water quality test results. Register at aub.ie/hancevillewells by November 10. A free educational bacteria screening is available to the first 20 registrants who pick up sample bottles. Supplies are limited and only 20 bottles are available.

Basics of well water testing and well stewardship
How to test your well water
How to interpret test results
How to select treatment options/types of treatment (basics)
