2024 Alabama Beef Systems Short Course – Southeast Region

A multi-date (March 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th) introduction series on beef cattle production. The series consist of eight topics delivered in 1 hour individual classroom presentations. The topics (Economics, Meat Science, Forages, Nutrition, Herd Health, Reproduction, Record Keeping and Environmental Stewardship) are aimed to inform new and beginning producers about basic beef production practices and refresh the knowledge base of experienced beef producers.
