Recipes 

4 Easy Peanut Butter Snack CombinationsCelery Sticks with Peanut Butter and Raisins.

  • Apple slices + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
    • Dip apple slices into peanut butter. 
  • Celery sticks + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
    • Spread peanut butter onto celery.
    • Optional: Add a few raisins on top. 
  • Banana + 2 tablespoons peanut butter + crushed peanuts
    • Spread the entire outside of the banana with peanut butter
    • Roll in the crushed peanuts. 
  • Choice of fruit + 2 tablespoons of peanut butter + ½ cup non-fat yogurt
    • Mix peanut butter and yogurt until blended.
    • Dip fruit into the mixture. 

Peanut Butter Energy Bites Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Optional additions: cinnamon, raisins, dried blueberries, dried cranberries, coconut, flax seeds, or vanilla 

Directions

  • Using a wooden spoon or spatula, fold and stir all ingredients together until well combined. 
  • Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball. 
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange bites on sheet.
  • Refrigerate until firm. 
  • Store in a resealable container in the refrigerator.

Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups rice cereal
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • Optional: 1 cup raisins

Directions

  • In a saucepan, bring honey to a boil. 
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Stir in peanut butter.
  • Add cereal, oats and raisins, if desired. Mix well.
  • Remove from heat, and press mixture into a lightly greased 8×8 pan.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Cut into 16 bars.
