Recipes
4 Easy Peanut Butter Snack Combinations
- Apple slices + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- Dip apple slices into peanut butter.
- Celery sticks + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- Spread peanut butter onto celery.
- Optional: Add a few raisins on top.
- Banana + 2 tablespoons peanut butter + crushed peanuts
- Spread the entire outside of the banana with peanut butter
- Roll in the crushed peanuts.
- Choice of fruit + 2 tablespoons of peanut butter + ½ cup non-fat yogurt
- Mix peanut butter and yogurt until blended.
- Dip fruit into the mixture.
Peanut Butter Energy Bites 
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- Optional additions: cinnamon, raisins, dried blueberries, dried cranberries, coconut, flax seeds, or vanilla
Directions
- Using a wooden spoon or spatula, fold and stir all ingredients together until well combined.
- Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange bites on sheet.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Store in a resealable container in the refrigerator.
Peanut Butter Cereal Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups rice cereal
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- Optional: 1 cup raisins
Directions
- In a saucepan, bring honey to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Stir in peanut butter.
- Add cereal, oats and raisins, if desired. Mix well.
- Remove from heat, and press mixture into a lightly greased 8×8 pan.
- Let cool completely.
- Cut into 16 bars.
