Forestry
Human populations are continuously increasing in urban areas around the globe. Forests are critical components of eco-cities and play an important role in improving people’s quality of life. Therefore, it is imperative that people sustainably manage urban forest ecosystems. Join the Alabama Cooperative Extension System for the City Forests Webinar Series to learn about different aspects of managing trees and forest ecosystems in urban areas.
Certified arborists can receive International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)-approved Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each live webinar session that they attend in its entirety. To receive these credits, arborists need to provide their ISA certification number and information when registering.
