Forestry & Wildlife
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is pleased to share the 2026 Alabama Phenology Calendar. Phenology is the study of the timing of seasonal events in nature, such as the blooming of dogwood trees and the mating of whitetail deer. With this calendar, you can discover the natural rhythms of the seasons, including wildlife emerging from hibernation, birds nesting and migrating, and flowers blooming. These are just a few of the phenological events that happen all around us every year.
