While cotton farmers face a difficult economy, experts with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System are ready to help at the 2026 Wiregrass Cotton Expo. As the largest expo of its kind in a tristate area, this event brings together resources, research, and real solutions. Educational sessions will help farmers learn best practices for making the most out of their cotton acreage in the upcoming year. Attendees can explore more than thirty on-site vendors to learn about the latest cotton-farming technology. Also, thousands of dollars’ worth of door prizes will be given out.

This year’s keynote speaker is Jon Devine, a senior economist with Cotton Incorporated. He will speak on the Farm Bill and other federal policies. Other speakers and topics include the following:
