Alabama 4-H
AUBURN UNIVERSITY, Ala. — For the last home series of the regular season, Auburn softball invites 4-H members to experience the thrills of Jane B. Moore Field during the Alabama 4-H Softball Days.
Auburn will face off with Ole Miss April 24-26 in a Friday, Saturday and Sunday series. The three games start at 6 p.m., 2 p.m. and noon, respectively. Alabama 4-H members and their families can see Auburn in action at a special rate of $9.36 per ticket, thanks to Auburn Athletics.
“This special weekend is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our young people,” said Nancy Alexander, an Alabama Extension 4-H specialist. “We are thrilled to welcome 4-H families, alumni and supporters to Auburn as we cheer on the Tigers against Ole Miss.”
Tickets are available for purchase at aces.edu/go/4HSoftballDays. These are general admission tickets, which are standing room only. However, following the third inning, attendees can sit in empty seats unless the ticket holder claims the seat. Fan information on items like parking, concessions, entry and restrictions is available at auburntigers.com/softball-gameday.
Senior Day, Promotions and More

After Auburn’s Sunday game vs. Ole Miss, children ages 12 and younger can run the bases.
This series is packed with exciting elements for members to enjoy. Auburn cohead coach Kate Malveaux — a former Illinois 4-H member — knows firsthand how similar the goals of 4-H and athletics are.
“Being a former 4-H member myself, there was a lot of crossover with the leadership and communications skills and the community service and development between both athletics and 4-H,” Malveaux said. “It’s a really cool opportunity to mesh the two in a really great environment that supports all the things that we both believe. We’d love to see you at the games this weekend.”
To start each game, one Alabama 4-H member will serve as the Play Ball Kid of the Game. On Friday, members can visit the promotions booth to get a set of Auburn softball trading cards. At the end of Saturday’s game, there is an autograph session with the team. Sunday’s game is senior day, recognizing Auburn’s Destiny Rodriguez and McKaela Walker. This game is also Sunday Runday, where children ages 12 and younger can run the bases after the game.
