Calabria, L.A. of North Carolina State University emphasized
urban stream conditions specific to the southeastern U.S. Techniques
covered in this workshop included stream surveys to obtain stream
cross sectional area, pebble counts, stream stability assessment,
pattern, and other field techniques.
These techniques were then incorporated into presentations
on the feasibility of stream restoration along Parkerson Mill Creek.
Each group presented their best option given on-site constraints.
This workshop was approved for 1.45 CEUs from Auburn
University and 8 Continuing Forestry Education Credits (CFEs).
