Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center
Auburn, Alabama

Workshop instructors, Greg Jennings, Ph.D., Dan Clinton, and Jon Calabria, L.A. of North Carolina State University emphasized urban stream conditions specific to the southeastern U.S. Techniques covered in this workshop included stream surveys to obtain stream cross sectional area, pebble counts, stream stability assessment, pattern, and other field techniques.

These techniques were then incorporated into presentations on the feasibility of stream restoration along Parkerson Mill Creek. Each group presented their best option given on-site constraints.

This workshop was approved for 1.45 CEUs from Auburn University and 8 Continuing Forestry Education Credits (CFEs).
