Watershed Restoration
     
     

There are three large restoration projects underway in Mississippi. A restoration of the Buttahatchie River (headwaters are in northwest Alabama) has just begun and restoration projects on the Luxapalila River and the Bogue Chitto Creek are under way. Mississippi is also interested in conducting (or funding) educational outreach programs in these watersheds.
