— Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) Result —

We have provided the Question and the Answer to the FAQ that you requested!

QUESTION:
Who do I complain to if my municipal drinking water is not acceptable?
ANSWER:
You should first telephone your local drinking water supplier (the number is in the telephone book) and discuss your problem. The number should also be on your monthly water bill. Your supplier will probably send a representative to your home to help you or to explain what is causing the problem and what the supplier intends to do about it. Most problems are taken care of at this level. If you are still not satisfied and believe your utility is not responding adequately, you can contact the governmental units that oversee the utility, beginning with local officials first.
