St. Clair County 4-H

Welcome to the St. Clair County 4-H Program Home Page! Four-H is the youth development and education program of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. For almost 100 years, 4-H has helped youth in Alabama and across the nation develop into resourceful citizens and responsible leaders.
Four-H is most recognized by its emblem, a four-leaf clover with an “H” in each leaf. The letters stand for head, heart, hands and health. Four-H spans all interests, as well as, all races and backgrounds and it costs nothing to join.
Four-H is a “learning by doing” education program for boys & girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade. It can involve “any kid...any time...anywhere” through events, camps, clubs, or activities. Young people have many choices in their 4-H experiences. They learn and HAVE FUN—that is 4-H! St. Clair County currently has approximately 1,500 youth enrolled in traditional and special interest clubs. For more information about how to join 4-H in St. Clair County, please contact Tonya Tomlin, 4-H Agent Assistant at (205) 338-9416.
