The Food Safety & Quality team is pleased to offer a food preservation series presented online using Zoom. Registration is open to the whole state. Each workshop in the series will include 1) zoom etiquette and use, 20 a lesson on a food preservation principles and 3) lice demonstrations o preservation techniques. Interaction during the demonstration is encouraged. Participants will learn about and watch processes for water bath canning for fruit, tomato and pickled products. In the second class the topics will be pressure canning for vegetables and meats and the third class will teach the best methods for freezing specific fruits & vegetables . Pre- and post tests will be administered online in each workshop for program evaluation.
