Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
The SFMNP provides resources to eligible seniors to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from authorized farmers at approved farmers markets. * Not every farmer at the market is eligible to accept the vouchers. Please look for the green and white FMNP sign or you may ask them.
Application must be submitted online at http://fma.alabama.gov/SeniorNutrition/
An application must be completed for each person in the household that qualifies for SFMNP benefits *(Must use combined monthly household income). Applicants must reapply every year.
We understand that many seniors do not have internet access or use computers.
