The center of downtown Huntsville Alabama was once the heartbeat of black life, culture, religion and economic power. Where banks, businesses, and other attractions now stand, this hub of the black community thrived. Come listen to the real life stories of past residents as they describe what life in their downtown community was like and the importance of recalling, documenting and preserving this history.
