Recreational Fish Pond Workshop

Central Alabama Community College, 1675 Cherokee Road, Alexander City, AL 35010

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Various experts will be on hand to discuss Weed ID & Control, Pond Fertility, Pond Health, Maintenance, and Animal Control. The workshop will also feature an Electrofishing Assessment Demonstration and fish count evaluation of the college campus pond. Participants may bring their pond weeds to be identified and a sample of their pond water to be tested. The workshop will begin inside the Betty Carol Graham Teechnology Center and conclude outside by the campus pond.
